Had a few cans of this last night.

Couldn't tell any difference at all except for the annoying noise it made.

saw these too, just make the beer more frothy and slightly flatter than usual.

i can see the merit in it with john smiths, so more pressure can bee added to the can. but cant really see the point with lager tbh.

i think kronenbourg have came up with a hoisty one as well

I didnt know what the fuck was happening when I started drinking one of these last week. I was well into the session but i'd been drinking normal cans until then.. :dunce:

It tasted flat compared to the others I'd had.

Putting crap in beer/lager like that just seems wrong.

The germans have it right with those laws they have that all beers have to only contain water, malt and hops (or something like that) and nothing else.

I've just had a thought about this new novelty scuba can from fosters. now i'm nee rocket scientist so, correct me if i'm wrong, but if there's now something else other than beer in ya fosters cans, does that not mean theres less beer?

and you paid an extra quid for this? :monkey:

oh whey aye.....of course, i dont know why everybody's not doin it....oh hang....i know....its coz theres no point and its a waste of money. i knew there was someting. its a gimmick designed to keep the brand in your conscious thought for that bit longer. thats it. tell u how they'd stay in my fond memories, stop spending all your budgets coming up shit gimmicks to try and bleed me for more and more money. double the capacity of ya cans, and cut ya prices in half,, then i'll rememberyou for just that little bit longer.

i'm sorry, i get tetchy when i'm tired

    dear me

i can imagine this line's aimed at the young impressionable youth - who go for quality over content.

The Fad will pass once they realise they can get better tasting lager without the widget in bigger cans, for cheaper. as was mentioned it was tried in the 90's and failed, this will happen again no-doubt.

i got a newsletter from SN earlier this year at the pub, pronouncing that fosters is rapidly taking over the UK's Lager market by storm - and ultimately SN's rise to the top in distribution.

Carling need to get there act together if they want to stay a big brand.

stop fuckin kiidin yaself marty. being on the dole doesnt allow to appreciate money, it simply forces you to deal with never having any! of course your gonna have an "appreciation" for it then. you'll be appreciating every giro you get ya hands on.
    :p

hell i appreciate the fact that megan fox has probably a snatch thats designed by gucci and smells like a sweet shop. but no matter how much i appreciate all things "megan fox" if i ever got my hands on the sweet smelling package, well you wouldnt think i appreciated it like. in fact you'd swear i took every inch for granted.

sorry just went off on one there....
