    Football "Team Britain"

We are rumoured to be preparing to entering a soccer team in the next or 2012 games...

Id fucking love to see that, dont know why they dont anyway???

Imaging Giggsy on the left (aye hes getting on), Ferdinand at the back and Kevin Kyle upfront!

i think we'd have duff on the left like!

and to be honest, that is the only one i'd take from wales, ireland, ni and scotland.

it would basically just be duff in the england team! possibly bellas on the bench, but he'd probs just piss everyone off !

I reckon it would be a good idea, I don't buy all this bollocks of it weakening the independence and individuality of all of the FAs, the rugby teams do it and look at them....

Fair play for owning up. You could have taken the easy route and edited your post

Only Bellamy and Giggs would make the squad if it was chosen today.

    Fletcher maybe from Scotland.

    Nobody from NI.

the scottish are opposed as it may affect their "national identity".

bollocks... the people want to see it and if they dont care then the other fa's should cooperate to make it happen.

i dont see why its a problem, if they are so opposed to being accoiated with britain why dont they rufuse tax payers money from our country? im sure that will help them to feel "british"

the only one from Norther Ireland who could make the team would be young Davis from Villa, one to defo look out for...................none of the current squad.

There only allowed 3 people over the age of 23 though I think. So most of the team for 2012 won't of played a first team game so far:lol:

Scotland have said they would oppose any moves to form a UK team for the Olympics. They think it will get FIFA to try and make a permanent UK team, for World Cups, etc
