Fn buttons On acer laptop

    Fn buttons On acer laptop

    For some reason I now have to enable wireless capability on my acer 6530g laptop

    Problem is can't get the fn buttons to work, ive tried googling but nowts coming up that I want. I've tried system restore . I'd try downloading drivers but I can't get on to the acer site . Arrrghhh!!

    I'm using vista 32 bit

    can you not just turn it on in the control panel ?

    the wireless adapter in me laptop is enabled but to enable " wireless capability" u need to press these keys it's really pissing me off like

    have you restored to the OP that was on there the day you bought it or a new version of W7?

    if w7 you will need to run the Acer software that is bundled with your lappy to enable Acer goodies like Sound Managment etc and get the buttons working

    I've looked all over for the disk . I might see if I can get a replacement or see what's on the acer site . When I can get on. Cheers .

    Acer pc's usually have an e-recovery managment thing on them, you wont need the cd iirc.

    press function or cntrl and F10 during boot
