FM - DESTINATION sample up The sample is now up thanxs to Mr Marcer!!! Give Lee and me you comments!!! FM - Destination then click Destination
sounds pretty decent, hoover noises are pretty cool + the vocal is fairly hyper, not too keen on the percs as they sound bit empty and lacking for hard house, the sub bass seems to be too high and isnt balanced with a decent grungy type bass to build the energy, has great potential tho
sounds lke a happy hardcore tune, its not my type of track that i wud listen to but its good in a way
Sounds well mastered and has soem good parts(hoovers, sub bass etc), quite like this but the vocal is a bit dodgy
Without meaning to be snooty/a cock: The rhythym & groove is brill up to about 55 seconds into the sample.....then comes the generic/expected/predictable bit. Im no producer, but to make the track stand out you've got to hit people with something that they dont expect - as long as it works with the overall groove of the track. You cant expect people to say 'yeah its mint' when it sounds like a million other tracks out there. You've got to put the 'Mark Maitland' stamp on it, and from what Im hearing you havent done this. Hope this helps - no offence intended.
Thats a fair point mate! But as it's was just a booty i didn't see the need to use all the ideas up lol!! The rework has just been done, taken the hoovers out and put a class riff in. But i think its time to leave it aloan
Good effort Mark, but it seems like it lacks a few elements before the hook comes in. The main hook as well has been used a few time in bootlegs ie Karim and has been used alot of times on old Rotterdam Hardcore tracks. Plus on the break down of the track I think again the main hook comes in to early I would of perhaps not brought it in fully unitll the track kicks back in. On the plus side of things the track seems to be mixed ok.....well over the internet it does would like to hear the full version on cd.
There speaks a gangsat from grand theft auto who got loads of releases on 12 inch thumpers , mr cogan?
