Flash animation

I'd like to make a simple flash animation to go on our company website (we don't have an it dept to do it). Is it easy enough for someone to be able to explain how to do it? And do i need any special program for it?

is it easy? No.

You'll need Macromedia Flash to make it. A few days using the built in help thingys, you'll be able to get something out reasonable...


i hate tweening....stupid program...

Can i get this free anywhere?

Flash is not easy and you need to understand animation, And no its not free, try macromedia website they may do a free tiral

Am downloading a free 7day trial from the macromedia site, so have got 7 days to teach my self.

Well you have to know how to animate you cant you tell it what you want you have to produce each frame

Just want something really simple. Simple in my amteur eyes anyway.

Similar to the banners above. I want a company logo, then another shot with a bit writing, then another shot with a different bit of writing. Just want this to repat on a loop.

Should i be trying to do this with flash? or is there a simpler/more effective way of doing it?

You need a graphic designer this is not something one can just turn there hand too

flash on its own is pretty gash..

get hold of illustrator and create the graphics in there.. then export em as swf files... then make 'em dance..

Have spent the morning experimenting and have got a wee flash thing that i'm pretty proud of!! How can i post it here to show off?

It's not gash, but it's nothing impressive. Just simple, as i desscribed above. Am pleased with my efforts though. Will post a link when it goes up on our site!!

in uni we had a simple animation after our first flash seminar.

Flash for dummies is handy if you can get a copy.
