    I'm with the girl like Shortee on this one.

    The whole thing seems very 'convenient' to me for something which 'supposedly' was only transmissable from pigs directly to humans and not humans to humans.

    For all you conspiracy fans out there, the company who WILL be responsible for making the vaccine for this thing, BAXTER LABORATORIES, was found last month to have ACCIDENTALLY mixed LIVE bird flu virus with its vaccines for regular flu on the way to the third world.

    Mark my words! This will happen (if it gets big). Watch out for that name.

    .... If this thing ever gets big, you can count me out of any 'vaccines' they come up with.




    Right, im off to buy some aluminium foil to wrap around my baseball cap before i go and sit in my Anderson shelter.

    trying to quash some conspiracies here...

    1. it isn't actually swine flu, as far as i know it's a mutation of two strains of porcine influenza virus, a strain of avian influenza, and a strain of human influenza, hence its ability to infect several species. i think the actual virus is h1n1.

    2. there isn't a vaccine and there won't ever be. the influenza virus mutates far too easily to even consider a vaccine, which would be hideously inefficient.

    3. stop panicking. a couple of weeks of oseltamivir (tamiflu) or zanamivir (relenza) will sort it right out. luckily for everybody in the uk, we stockpiled it when we panicked about everybody contracting the h5n1 avian flu a couple of years ago.

    trust me, i'm a pharmacologist...

    I never saw that till last night .... meaning ive just retrospectively proved myself right. ;)

    Regardless ....The fact still remains that a company has 'accidentally' put HN51 bird flu in its own vaccines for regular flu. Anyone taking any of that shit is dicing with death.
