Zone alarm pro, download the cracked version off kazaa. Install it. When it loads up, use your internet programs as normal. Each time u use a new program (like IE, Outlook, kazaa etc) the firewall will ask if you want to allow it. Click Yes and check the little 'remember this setting' box. The firewall will now remember which programs are allowed Hey presto!
ive found ZAP canny usefull..but does it slow your connection down? coz when its not on..the internet seems a lot faster
think it varies from pc to pc mate, i dont notice a slow down i really only use a firewall if i leave my pc on when downloading, like films etc
I just installed Zone Alarm version 3.7.143 last night. Since then I've had 120 blocked intrusions, 66 of which have been high rated. So like, is there any way of telling who, or what has tried to connect to my machine, how can you tell if it has been a genunine attempt by some hacker?
We all know what you're hiding Van the Man...... The reason you're getting so many erm...., ahem, intrusions, is that your PCs' riddled with spyware when you've installed DivX Pro, Kazaa and the like. I know you've run Ad-aware but they're a shite to get rid of. Just face it man, Big Bro is watching.... mwah haa haa haaaaa!!
Don't go for the hacked version off kazaar - thats the easiest way. Download the full version from the Zone Alarm website then just get a serial number for it.
