firewall how important is havin you internet connection firewalled?? seems to reduce your capabilties but i dont whether to turn it off or not??
Re: Re: firewall well i've been using winmx for a few years n with dial-up it's been ok, but with broadband i need to choose the 'primary connection' but it wont let me unless i loose the firewall guess i should just find another download program?!
Re: Re: Re: firewall Which firewall? You'll just need to set an advanced rule to allow whichever ports are used on which protocol for WinMX (read the FAQ on the website). I recommend using Sygate firewall if you're not already

If AVG pops up with anything else, post up exactly what it says, and the location of the infected files - unless AVG already cleaned them when it popped up originally.
