    He was rather awesome like lastnight! his whole set was mintos, wasnt bothered that he played 'punk' + 'rock your body rock', they had everyone up on the floor, which is all that matters! i bet some of the ppl who have slated him in the past for playing 'Punk' were humming along to it lastnight!

    he played some corkers;

    Sonar Methods - Echoing Waves (Robert Nickson remix)
    Matti Laamanen - Obsession (Luke Terry remix) > Well done Luke!:up:
    Above + Beyond - No-one on Earth (Gabriel + Dresden remix)
    William Orbit - Barbers Adagio for Strings (Ferry Corsten remix)

    one of the best sets at Promise for a while:up:
    :cool:

    YKTS! :laugh:

    Ferry plays Punk and Rock Your Body because it gets a reaction from the crowd. Fair play to him I say.

    Was good to see Promise really busy again. Im just glad I didnt have to stand in that queue!

    It was worth it!
    I'd forgotten how good promise is, its been far too long......hello to the people i met last night, i have a vague memory of saying hello to a few of you -errrm, rachel, and might have seen spence?? few other people too :spangled: :spangled:

    so yeah, i've always slated ferry for playing punk but i was singing along with the rest of them last night, barbers adagio is one of my favourite records of all time, +carte blanche :king: :king: , and did hardwick play autumn tactics???

    absolutely top night, restored my faith in clubbing :)

    Class. I'm sure Luke will play it too, when he plays at Twisted Logic @ Liquid Bar, on Wednesday October 6th, with Nick Rodger and Jim Craik & MK X B2B, which also happens to be free entry... ;) :rolleyes:

    Ferry was good. No more. But he did play G&D Mix of No One On Earth (worth the entry fee alone). :love: :love: :love:

    Matt stole the show though as usual, with Autumn Tactics being the highlight. Shame he only got 90 minutes.

    But, how good was it to see it full. Where did all these people come from? Thats the busiest ieve seen Promise, or indeed Shindig in over a year. The dancefloor was full, the sides were full, the back was full, the whole balcony was open and it was full, and the back room was full too! Was def over 1000 in there. Rumours of Promises demise are greatly exagerated it seems. :D

    Just gutted i had to queue 40 mins to get in, and missed the Tulip prog. :( I never bother with guestys normally cos theres never any queue at all.
