At the Arena, he was a minimal techno DJ being asked to play a peak time set in a trance arena. It was bad planning from the promoters rather than him that killed the main room at 4am.

I've never disliked him. Sure he ruined Gods that night - only because he was booked to play at 4am or something, just before O'Bir, but he has taken all the critisism and just kept at it. Fair play to him. Defo a good booking though

I never used to be into him at all, though my music taste has changed 100% over the past year really and bang into his stuff now.

I've noticed mate. If you compared one of your mixes 2 years back to the most recent one the difference is unreal.

Totally mate, even last february i was still knocking out trance mixes so its just over a year really.

Used to be well in to trance and still dont mind hearing it out though after 5+ years of playing it just needed a change to get me enjoying djing again, and once i started listening/buying other stuff found a lot of producers that i was well into and it just snowballed from there really!!

He did go a bit gash for a while but like others I'm liking his new stuff. I think half the problem is that he always looks smashed and not bothered when he plays. I've seen him rinse a room a few times and other times he's careless with his mixing and blatantly mortal drunk.
Give him another chance I say.

first time i saw fergi was at the love boat for the cancelled love parade, on jules show - he continued for an hour or so after it finished - he fucking rocked.

saw him 2 or 3 times at promise, the birthday i think he was really ill and off with the mixes. otherwise i've always liked him
