Felix Da Housecat Outstanding.. Just bought two of his albums recently and am well impressed ! Well looking forward to seeing this bloke @ Space when im in Ibiza, anyone know if he ever plays UK ?!?1 Am sorta gutted cos when he was on @ Genre (i think anyways) i had been out all day with work. every bar i went too i got knocked back cos i was that mortal and cant remem fuck all from the night in Foundation. I was seen sitting on sinks for half the night in the bogs :spangled: obviously before the blokes who sell stuff turned it into there shop ! Ohh well...
excursions people get on their high horse about him, but so fuck? as long as the musics good who gives a shit?
My mates got a signed copy of "Silver Screen" which he gave @ the pier head NYE 99 for Millenium Even - he said he was having banter with him and he gave him that and said it will be massive, that was about a year before anyone else had heard it etc ! Fuck what people say anyways - i like it and think he's quality, he must be doing summit right to be where he is
He's awsome live!! the new album is realy bad tho!! He's apparently trying to move away from the electro tag which is fair enough but why release an album full of it??
has anyone actually bought it? felix is overated anyways...apart from a few, most of his tunes are pretty darn dull! aint seen him out before though...
He was pretty good when he was on at foundation a couple of months ago but not keen on his new album at all- there's a couple of good tracks on butt he majority are poor.
i havn't heard all his new album but i liked his old one! i've only seen him a couple of times dj-ing and he played pretty much all techno which wasn't what i expected!
I reckon there's only two gud tunes on it, Rocket ride and Ready 2 Wear, rest are uninspiring/dull have to say though it was gonna be hard following up an album as good as kitten and the glitz.
