    why would anyone want to hack someone running linux ;) All they have on their pc's are text based MUD's, pictures of Seven of Nine from Startrek, and a WINE window running windows XP in a window so they can do all the stuff they cant do in their superior OS's :)

    Windows 2003 behind a linksys router is as secure as you need lad :)

    Secure maybe but can you actually do anything on it?


    Xp is as secure as i need a pc to be (behind a hardware firewall) and it's at least 2 times more productive than any other distro (cept maybe osx) as a desktop or workstation.

    You can do any given task faster on micro$oft than linux, even linux heads must admit that?

    maybe years ago but not these days......it can do everything windows can (most of it better :up:)

    U can do everything u can on a windows pc mate (minus the games playing) - its come on leaps n bounds over last few years.......

    I just wanted a machine to use for general day to day stuff, internet, watchin movies etc....which didnt suffere from all the shit that comes with windows.....constant security breaches with these petty trojans etc....

    Linux is ideal :up:
