FAO people who build websites and know about Forums

I am looking to add a 'proper' forum to the PGR website.....I have been looking around and notice that some forum providers are free and others charge! Can anyone recommend any, or give me some pointers to look out for? :dunce:

Yeah we use it, free for the first 30 days as a trial then works out at about £10 every 3 months, pretty easy to use as well.

PHPBB is also a good one, completely free and very easy to manage :)

    It's also fully customizable.

    www.phpbb.com i believe!

vbulletain is just very good... you get support, access to plugins etc...

phpbb will do in most cases.

    Just that, service.

phpBB is very good but you're basically on your own when it comes to installing it and customising it.

I have never used any of the paid message boards but I think you get access to support if you have any problems...
