    FAO Evening Chronicle Readers

i'm not currently living in newcastle at the moment so i usually read the chronicle online.

i always look forward to reading alan oliver's articles but over the past week there hasn't been any. now the week that has just gone is one of the bigest in terms of news for nufc so i'm very surprised that he hasnt been covering it.

does anyone know where he is? has he been sacked?

I was wondering that. Sky Sports News had the sports editor of the Chron on when Souness was sacked, I expected it to be Oliver but it wasn't.

He hasn't had a by-line for ages either.

I fuckin' hope he's been sacked, I absolutely despise that smarmy little cunt and everything he says/does.

The Chronicle offices are very near where I work, might go and ask.
