I cant speak for the event as a whole, however, the proposed 'Beat Therapy' line-up at the Fed will now be supporting Pete Tong in the back room of Digital on Boxing Day.

certainly be interesting to see how many punters they get in the fed.

Regardless of how much they spend on the venue at the fed, they cant change the fact that it spends most weekends hosting wedding functions and award dinners. The rooms are just like different sized social club function rooms? Doesnt feel like a club environment AT ALL.

With Tongy now on at Digi its bound to struggle for numbers, people are going to see the bigger name at the known clubbing venue, as opposed to less mainstream names at a venue most people wont know located out of the city centre...

Pete Tong will attract clubbers, part time clubbers and the beer boys on their boxing day piss up, simply because he is pete tong, it will be rammed

A shocking turn of events but rather a good read from the 1st post to the end where we go from people bigging up the event to promoting the rival night at digital & then we end up at "Is the Wonderland thing still going ahead then?"

Theres a little more to it than Room2 simply 'bolting to Digital'.
It’s never been normal practice for anyone involved in playing Room2 to let promoters down, quite the opposite infact. All the lads’ work extremely hard in pushing any given event they play, but decided on this occasion it simply wouldn’t be possible to work with those originally involved with the proposed Boxing Day event at the Fed. Everyone involved in the Winter Wonderland gig fully understands the situation & our views as I’ve spoken with them direct.

On that note, is it possible Pete or Ricky could please edit all their promo on Flyers, Facebook & Ticketweb events by this afternoon as it still states the Winter Wonderland event at the Fed are hosting DJ’s that are no longer playing. Cheers.

I can see why people would bolt to Digital as it has been giving a stack of local DJs plenty of gigs lately & it is club that has lots of dates & needs Djs so it is best for the DJs to link up with them rather than a "as & when one off night".

What I find strange is when did McDigtalTM send out the call for Room 2 because I am guessing Tong was not booked at the start of this week.

Come boxing day: D.Ramirez and Xpress2 will see the numbers @ The Feds empty Wonderland & walk out, they will then see Digit-Al or Stone in the car park wearing their Crimbo jumpers offering them a cash in hand deal to play Digital.
