B4 u say this is too important for the Tecky Forum

If anyone was experiencing their computer shutting down last night, it was part of a mass MS Windows attack, some RPC exploit, anyway get the patch here

Which fucking XP are we all running? I'm on home edition which came with the PC but is that likely to be 32 bit or 64 bit??

I don't have a problem with malware authors. If people actually bothered patching their pcs then they could not break in to your pcs, if you leave it wide open people are gonna do it.

I get more pissed off at the people who don't patch their pcs, their lazyness allows the malware peeps fuck up the Internet which effects people that make their living from it.

In addition I hate what the internet has become in the past 3-4 years.

It was originally a cool place for information seeking, dos gaming and real bbs, now its all commercial, its came to the point where I have to scan every app I download for spyware before I install it.

i know it's not an ideal world, but people should be putting their talents to more useful stuff, it still pisses me off. i suppose there's always going to be the criminal element around to exploit flaws in the system.

    malicious hacking is just pointless.
