    Facebook Chat

Anyone else just noticed this? what a little belter it is, just a new service thats been added today (kinda the same principles as msn).

I never thought id say it but Myspace for me is totally falling behind, it's a pain in the arse to add people, setting up events is a lot more time consuming & they dont have half nor quarter of the quality features Facebook's just brought out.

(I definitely need to get out the house like).

I couldn't agree more to be honest. I stopped using myspace a long time ago. It seems that the only thing myspace is better for now is music....

Having said that though, whats the craic with some of these Applications? Which Spice girl are you? Do people actually give a shit which Spice Girl they are most like?

I’ll have to check this out when I’m next on.

I agree though, Myspace has been totally falling behind for a while. I rarely go on anymore. The novelty of having a page that can look like a proper website, with your own personalised backgrounds, music player etc etc.. has worn off and has been replaced by the simplicity of Facebook.

However, I hate a lot of the shite applications on Facebook. I’m consantantly ignoring shit about Werewolves, Zombie’s, Rate Me and so on…

Aye exact same boat as me, if you could stick the application requests & group invites on ignore permanently it would be much better.

There also seems to be to much more people from your own Networks involved than there is on Myspsace, half of my mates on Myspace are hookers offering their "online services"

you can click deny if you dont want that kind of 'friend'

being an add whore just fuels it - i usually press report instead of add when you get the pr0n stars pestering

i think bacefook isnt as worldly due to the way the groups work

the extra shit put me off using it

i cant stand the 'what friends character are you' applications like that, and the fact you cant have music on yer page. myspace is good cos its fully changeable, facebook looks gash, but serves its purpose a lot better.

and proudy; wheres these flyers !

I prefered myspace at first but now I love facebook. although the ignore button gets pressed everyday when I log on, join this group, attend that event, does my head in!

the only application worth while is poker and the brain game

I have removed the fun wall etc from my profile too, all I have is my normal wall, friends and photo's.

Its much easier finding friends on facebook too, all my school friends I aint seen in years and family i never see

Lets face it Jase, your never going to get the full use of Myspace's potential anyways unless your an International DJ/Artist? for me im not yet & probably never will be so the groups/networks im in on Facebook are brilliant for who I need to reach & there much more accessible.

Myspace is massively lagging behind with simplicity, dont get me wrong I still love the service & it's brilliant to see what DJ's/Artists are where but thats it theres too much shit out there now where as Facebook seems to be genuine people from the same networks with the same interests.

My Myspace friend list consists of Friends, Dj's, bands, randoms, club nights and anyone else that looked alright. 50% or more are probably people I don't know and probably never will know.

My Facebook friends list consists of people I grew up with, went to school with, current friends, people I met on holiday/out clubbing and a few local dj's and club nights that I support. 99.9% of them I know in some way or other.

That's why Facebook is my preference.
