Fabrizio Ravanelli is now on the dole, would he be a good signing for the shot shy mackem or the boro bore draws? Or is he over the hill now?

Sunderland need a boost like if they want to be in the premier league.

Make my day watching them go down in division 2

    then division 3:p

no no no, thats a very sad comment. We need the derby games, its good for the north east, good crack with the supporters, class atmospheres.

Fabrizio Ravanelli is a mercenary and is now clearly over the hill (as he was never 100% convincing with Derby). Middlesbrough can attract a striker of far higher quality if needs be. Sunderland are not in the best financial state and signing a player like him could be unwise. If he fails to hit form he would be a very expensive player to have on the books, Boro learned that from Boksic. Derby had several problems when they went down with all the highly paid 'stars' on their books that are happy to sit on a bench and pick up 20k - 30k a week.

    Say NO to Rav!:p
