yeah i chose Ganesh cause a. it sounds like gareth lol and b. because its the name of a hindu god, the god of removing obstacles...and the poor little thing is probably going to have alot of them in his life! i got invited to 2 hindu weddings today that was high in my list of things i wanted to do while in india. I was in the slums with the field workers , and i suddenly got a crowd of people wondering where i was from so i gave them a lesson on english culture, fashion and tanning! they thought i was white because i washed too much! so i explained about the lack of sun in england and then tried to explain sunbeds....i think they thought i was barmy because in their society the darker thew skin the less respect but they obviously thought it was pretty cool because i now have 62 people signed up for adult english classes instead of 12 lol....only problem was they all wanted to feed me and my mouth is burning off (our cook at home goes easy on us and gives us *white* curries)
helz it sounds like u r doing a worth while job out there.keep up the good work........i wud ask u to bring 1 back 4 me too but i don't think u'd b able to get 3 lil uns in ya ruck sack!!
