    Am looking into getting an external HD. Wanting it to be around 80/100gb storage.

    Any one got any recommendations?

    yeah get yourself to overclockers and pick one up there. I got a Western Digital 240gb one with pretty pink and blue lights about 10 months ago now for like £120 and its been brilliant, no probs wot so ever.

    i've got a lacie porche one, 160Gb it was £70 last year and has been mint so far the download time is fucking fast too.

    Any one used an external HDD on a network (connected it to a hub)? Whats the speed like... Is it OK to use a shared music storage drive?

    You can get ones u can actually plug in to your telly and watch divx/xvid etc off .....
