Exhibit a continues our tour of Newcastle's best underground venues and this month we will be taking over the red rooms!

Newcastles last remaining independant underground club venue.

Birthplace of JukeBox, Error, Revenge, Jaunt, BackLash and many other Newcastle Clubnights.

The place aint pretty, but it's as real as it gets!!!

The venue has played host to varied artists including the Mighty Boosh & Robots in disguise (Live), The Arctic Monkeys, Jamie T, Plan B, The Twang and DJs such as Dan Ghenacia (DC10, Circo Loco, Freak&Chic), Jody Wisternoff (Way Out West), The ItaloBoyz & Axel Bartsch (Kompakt).

Not only does the place resemble a bizzare combination of a social club, a warehouse and a dungeon, but it also comes complete with its own 2nd room (by day... one of newcastles most no-go boozers / by night... a bizzare, surreal, entirely unique "lock - in").

It may not have the glossy sheen provided by every other venue in Newcastle, but thats what makes it so good.

CHRISSY GRAHAM

"Jack of all sounds..... master of none! Well almost none anyway. This young (ish)man started djing about 1996 when he begged, stole and quite literally borrowed enough cash to buy a set of technics and a mixer from Tandy!!

Taking influences from the talent what was on display at clubs nights such as The Arena in Boro and Shindig, he started taking a strong penchant for the underground sound which he was hearing.

Fast forward 12 years and he has been fortunate enough to grace the turntables at some of the regions finer clubs, nights and bars. So it is testament to the old goat that recently he has appeared on the same bill as Phonique (Dessous), Matthew Styles (Crosstown Rebels) Mr C (The End) Dave Martin (Technique) and the legendary Slam.

Expect a bit of deep, futuristic house, tech and minimal techno, old or new it doesnt really matter, it will be all stuff to shake your arse too.
