    Excel help

I have a list of mailing names and addresses in excel and some of them are duplicates, is there are way of picking these out automatically and deleting them, without having to go through the sheet!!

    hmm...good question.

I got pretty swarve with Excel this summer, impressed my boss by doing something that he said would "take the best part of a week" in just over an hour.....obviously never heard of lookups

As for a built in Excel function, i'm not too sure to be honest

Is it a large document? Try just sorting it by email address and remove the duplicate records.

There's no built-in function - usually you use a macro.

Sorting it is a good point tho, unless it's reaaaaallllly large.

Use an advanced filter- u can emove duplicated without any addins.

    Its in tools > filter.

    Check it  :)
