Isnt he doing a greatest hits tour type thing, hes played Crasher as well on the same tour if its the same thing.

Might head down for Picotto like, depending on who hes on with.

He played a "Classics Set" the other month at Goodgreef in Preston... Iguana & Back to Cali then the rest was Minimal.

This is a good line up Evolve or not, I for one have never seen Picotto before so am looking forward to it!

But also at the same time the likes of deadmou5 is playing for Shindig when in reality his productions are trance!

Does that mean that Shindig is no longer a house based night?

Picotto a credible booking - Yes.... at the right night.

I on the other hand have seen him, not only in his "good old days" also at Meganite & most recently at Preston & I daresay you'll have a corkin night... as he's a minimal DJ.

Deadmau5.. on the uplifting side of the house genre yes... a trance producer - get oot a toon

House music can cover many 'genres' which is what i think shindig does - look at coxy at the birthday bashing out the techno or some of the much more prog-ier DJs they have on.

being tied to 1 type of music can be restricting.

it'll be interesting to see what picotto plays - last time he was up here wasn't it Promise's 5th birthday? or 4th? yeah, 4th. i think.

Fair point, many of his productions will see plays by many a trance Dj. I wasn't at Shindig when Deadmau5 played but I was told that he played very trancy though?

Yeh it was, im still getting over I paid £17 in Lol.

I used to love Picotto, I went to see him in Preston on the basis Goodgreef had him on a "Classics Set" he sent the crowd a bit westward with his tunes. If it's a dead cert that it's an old 'best of' tour it should be decent.

I doubt his recent stuff would tbh, though ive seen some of his older stuff rip clubs apart in their hay day.

    Bangkok, Verdi etc

I agree completly mate, I think because there are now that many genres and Dj's are now producing a range of styles, its hard to pin point a particular Dj for a particular night....if you know what I mean? Thus Shindig playing Deadmau5 or alternativly Evolve playing picotto.

Personally I dont think Picotto is a bad booking at all, should be good, and im fully one for the trance pants whatever night is concerned.... More interested in the support act tho, not just for the music.... !!  :D :D

piccotto is a good booking - the night that is critised constantly for predictable and repetitive line ups has pulled a rabbit out of the at with this one like, great to see a change! al be there

would be good too see who else is one like (que digit-al's "official post" )
