‘Evolve’ presents to you the next in a long line of harder style events that is fast becoming a big attraction for the clubbing loyal in the North East.

Heading the line up, is none other than ‘Scott Project’ who’s sound is clearly recognizable in the dance scene. He has helped morph the harder side of trance since his coming to the centre stage in the early 1990’s and through his efforts has created a shock wave that has been felt in all areas of the clubbing scene.

Boasting a string of sensational production and remix projects, there is no sign of Scott slowing down with appearances at Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Slinky, Global Gathering, Homelands, Dance Valley, Avalon, and many more major festivals and clubs worldwide, we can only anticipate what he has in store for us!

Following is ‘Alex Kidd’, who’s influence on the hard dance scene has been dually awarded with ‘Best Dj’ in the ‘HDA’ awards. Alex boasts an impresses array of events (Kiddmania and Kiddstock) and also his new label (Kiddfectious) which is aimed to show case his own solo production.

His skills and trickery behind the decks are un-paramount using a ‘EFX 1000’ plus 3 ‘CDJ’s’ as his weapon of choice pushing not only his own technical capability to the limits, but also that of the instruments he chooses to use.

‘LAB 4’ is a UK created hard dance act that was created by ‘Adam Newman’ and ‘Les Elston’ which was laid to rest in 2007 after 12 years of dedication to there favourite cause….hell raising on the dance floor.

Since the separation of the ’LAB 4’ duo, ’Adam’ has since proved his commitment by going on to create a live act that has to be seen to be understood and appreciated.

Resident ‘Richard Tulip’ starts his night with his unique style that only ‘Richard’ can call his own, and also in room 2 is rising star ‘Mark Maitland’ with another unique blend of minimal, electro and techno beats.

After a successful start to ‘Evolve’s’ very own pre-club session last month, the same line up will apply with ‘Richard Tulip’ and ‘Simon Garrington’ tantalising the ear drums and getting you in the mood for the main event, as well as a one off mixed cd by resident ‘Simon Garrington’ for the first 150 people through the door.

I almost got confused between the main room and the other rooms on sunday, if it hadn't been for the size difference of the rooms i would have swore it was you playing in the main room when i got in there?

Al do you know if room2 will be open all night this time?

Some of us turned up just for the back room last time and it was'nt open by 12... so we left. Therefore a waste of money for us...

Yeah I understand this is the view of many when it comes to the upstairs room.

Good news though guys we are going to open upstairs from the get go.

There are good and valid reasons why we open the second room later than the main room.

scoobz posted the reasons in another thread. If I can find it I'll post it.

Here is the reason Scoobz gave when the question was asked about Shindig last week. some of this will not apply to Evolve as 'The Other Rooms' is used for 'jukebox' on a friday while evolve is in the main club,

"As we have a backroom for 150 people and now with the smoking ban we always seem to have around 150 - 200 smokers outside these days on the terrace!!.. (smokers and non smoking "friends" who go out for the crack with them!!) All in all those 2 rooms can take 200- 300 people of the capacity of the mainroom.. so we tend to leave upstairs until there is enough people in..

When we get near 1000 or so in we make a decision to open the upstairs floor aswell.. but we just have residents up there unless it's a specifically booked bigger night/DJs etc. like Made in Sweden etc..

We had Nic Fancuilli on and we had 1000 in.. so had to make a decision , but there was about 150 outside all the time so if we opened upstairs aswell it may have taken another 150 away etc.. rather than diluting any floor we tend to just try and make the best decision for any given night based on numbers/DJs booked etc..

Hope that explains as it has been asked before elsewhere.. "

ive proper gave up on evolve line-ups like - i'd rather stay in (or work for that matter) Tbh.

i like hard music to a point but in doses, this constant torrent of hard-line ups is killing the trance scene, its almost like trance has taken a back seat.

however recycled is on soon (obv) so ya nah - i have faith.

its a shame i have to travel to leeds just to get my trance dose for the time being :monkey:

 this is the first hard line up we have had this year!!

    Trance Classics in Jan.
    Ferry in Feb.
Sander and Aly & Fila last month.

Hardly a torrent of hard dance DJ's?!

Knowing Evolves history with set-times, it'll probably be the opposite way round
