I guess. It's just not that great compared to previous line-ups that have been free.

I just posted this on another board to clear things up..

Baltic Square this year nothing to do with Shindig.

After 5 years of outdoor events between Baltic and Times Square we have decided to explore other things..

The Baltic is an Evolution Festival event this year.. The only connection is an EX Shindig partner (who left us to work on his own 4 years ago) runs the Evolution Festival.. and has done succesfully ever since he left us..

We are doing our birthday at Digital.. and we might have something else special lined up for this end of May bank Holiday Weekend.

    Watch this space..

I noticed that someone had been making incorrect assumptions earlier mate. Also notice it had been changed, and rightly so.

Was just curious if Van Helden was on. Knew it wasn't owt to do with the 'Dig and was part of Evolution ;)

    Sweet

There's some amazing bands on the line up- Glasvegas are incredible, The Whip, The Ghost Frequency, Crystal Castles.

All that for £3 is pretty impressive.

They'll all be on the bill at like 2pm-4pm, playing to about 10 indie anoraks and a handful of teenage charvers kicking an empty bottle of cider round.

Definitely. I'd be one of those indie anoraks.

£3 (to charity) isn't too bad - wonder if the crowd will be better this year because of it.

Always a wicked day if it's sunny

3 quid is cheap but I'm not gonna bother getting a ticket... I'll just get pissed-up in the Free Trade and Tyne all day and listen from there like I normally do when its on.

    No-one I'm bothered about anyway.
