Europe, my arse! Passport applications from SR postcodes will be at the usual low levels this summer after Old Trafford proved once more to be a lucky FA Cup semi-final venue. Millwall's defeat of the unwashed was certainly a case of the lesser of two evils but many a glass was raised to Dennis Wise and the South London Lions for ensuring semi-final heartache on wearside. The dismissal of Jason McAteer, George McCartney's blunder and numerous near misses for Mick McCarthy's mob only added to the merriment as mackem dreams of Europe were shattered.
