Needless to say im slightly looking forward to it, hes well on form at the minute with some wicked tracks forthcoming on Discover/Discover Dark that hes likely to give an airing to. If hes anything near as good as he was last month at Turnmills they will be having to rebuild the BBC come 4am sunday morning. Askew =
not too sure he played right across the board - i think he got scrapped in favour of some black music show

Speaking to him at Junior G he reckons they asked him back shortly after he left when a new producer came in, and in his words he "Told them to fuck off"
no disrespect to thomas datt, but his sound is the odd one out im all for a bit of variety but when you think of thomas datt, you don't really think "banging club music" as you would o'callaghan, askew, downey, tyas, etc
I like his recent mix of Kenidel Lopez "Heavens Calibur" though i get your point, he has been a bit hit and miss for me too. I still have a few of his tunes as they are generally released with other wicked remixes that i would play more than the original, ie "Evaporate" Stoneface & Terminal remix, "2v2" Askew mix etc. Askew & Hampshire are obviously fans though as have released quite a bit of his stuff, looking forward to hearing his new one "Distance" to see what its like
yep askew has also played a couple of datt's remixes in the past he's a lot better than he used to be, check out his remix of true form on asot - production was so poor i can't believe it ever made the b side but he's obv doing something right
John Askew - The Door is one of my fav vinyls ever, remember getting into his stuff years ago... might tune in if im back from toon and still awake
