We had some very successful releases, and really kick started some of our artist’s careers, MarcAshken and Audiojack being examples. Our first birthday tour was a success, taking in all major cities in England and also venturing to Italy and Germany. 2007 is set to be our year though. We have another sublabel called Leftout, which has been created to push the new breed of artists we have taken on. And our release roster is insane, with ep’s and remixes from Slam, Alexi Delano and Xpansul, Skream, Claude Von Stroke, MarcAshken, Spektre, Massi DL and many more… Also keep an eye out for Matt Tolfrey’s first mix cd coming out on Leftroom entitled Don’t Be Leftout. It is a mix of all current and future tracks from Leftroom, Leftroom Limited and Leftout, with some exclusive tracks and remixes included especially for the mix. MATT TOLFREY Matt Tolfrey has quickly stepped up from playing at local bars to holding down residencies at Stealth and The Bomb, two of the country’s most respected underground clubs. He’s been billed alongside the likes of Richie Hawtin, Damian Lazarus, Craig Richards, Ricardo Villalobos and Andy Weatherall to name just a (very) few. He’s played at some of the best clubs in the UK, including regular slots at Fabric, and worldwide he’s guested everywhere from Ibiza , to Berlin, to touring the USA and Mexico. As well as all this, he’s running three of his own labels named Leftroom, Leftroom Limited and Leftout (www.leftroom.com), and he has tracks signed to labels with co-producer Craig Sylvester. Matt has a unique style playing deep house and techno, through to stripped down bleeps and Germanic mayhem, he’s spawned his own hybrid strain of electronic funk. Anyone lucky enough to have already witnessed Matt in action will know that his particular brand of mutant-house has the power to win hearts and destroy minds on the dance floor. MARC ASHKEN Famous for having the best perm haircut in techno, MarcAshken has been hard at work on his new album over the last few months which is due to come out on Leftoom later in the year. Somehow Marc also finds time to constanly knock tracks out on Leftroom, Safari Electronique and Perc Trax to name a few. Many of his tracks are getting played by the likes of Ritchie Hawtin, Magda, Craig Richards, Kiki and Troy Pierce. This time round Marc will be showing off his new Live set.
