    Should he be sacked?

And if so, who should the new boss be?

I'm not an Erikson fan, he usually sits and defends a one goal lead which rarely works. Saying that tho, there is no way he should be sacked for this, it is nowt to do with the game and who would replace him?

The only time i have not liked his tactics was against Brazil. But what tactics do you use against Brazzzzil.

big respect for his flings but sack him for his inability to change tactics through games and lack of bottle in subbing beckham when he was playing pants.

Hedidnt have a clue against brazil,or portugal, we were robbed by France and totally ouplayed by the swiss first half.

Best since venables in not saying anything.

in Euro 96 we had home advantage and most host nations normally get to at least the semis so that was saying nowt.

Venables built a team to draw most games. Ericson builds a team to defend a 1 goal lead which England cant do.

Basically we aint good enough to ever win something we are the perennial quaterfinalists, wouldnt mind Curbishley or Sam Allerdyce as England manager. Mclaren would be tosh and so would steve bruce. Even keegan was better than those 2.

If they could get him they should try and get oneil but I dont think he would do it.

Having siad that we will probably get to the final in 2006 and get beat on penaltiesoff the germans

It still has to be done on the park. That performance against the Dutch was class. And how unlucky was Gazza. Inches away, bloody Germans.

its stupid that they are considering sacking a great coach over his personal life, which should never have got out in the first place, if he wants to get his cock wet thats his business

    more than one ;)

rubbish. Venables built one of technically the finest England football teams of recent decades. And you will find few who disagree...The performance against the Dutch (as mentioned by someone else) was the finest example of this. Lets be honest we were done on penalty kicks in the Germany game. Anderton hit the post, Gazza an inch away...5 tremendous penalty kicks from the nominated takers. What more could he have done? Venables was the finest tactical brain of his generation
