We are extremely sorry to announce that Eric Prydz will be unable to perform this evening at Shindig...

Eric and his management were under the impression that he would be appearing at Global Gathering early in the evening giving him plenty of time to drive to Newcastle.

Earlier this week the Global Gathering promoters decided they wanted Eric to perform from 2:30 – 5:30 so that part of his set could be aired on Radio 1’s essential selection.

For the best part of this week we have been liaising with Erics management and Global Gathering to try and rectify the problem to no avail.

It was suggested that he could play very early for us but that would mean him leaving Newcastle at midnight but we thought this would be unfair for Shindigs customers. (as most people dont get in the club until that time!!)..

Eric sends his apologises to everyone who was looking forward to seeing him play tonight and an alternative date is in the process of being arranged...

As a replacement we are extremely happy to welcome shindig regular TIM DELUXE who very kindly agreed to stand in late last night, even though he was supposed to be taking a well earned night off after just returning from a tour of Asia yesterday.
Tim plays very much on the same tip as Eric these days so we know you wont be disapppointed...

As well as Tim we are happy to welcome JOEY YOUNGMAN for his Shindig debut who has flown in from the USA especially for tonight.

We appologise again, but know it will be a cracking night anyway... Shindig...

fuckin come on, went to see tim deluxe for my 17th bday at shindig (sorry!) so glad hes on cause he kicked arse last time

havent seen scott play for AGES really looking forward to it now

from the reaction on here, looks like you should of booked deluxe in the first place

Shit happens at the end of the day. They've booked a quality replacement so they've done all they can. Fair play to the Dig Boys
