Few surprises there, Warnock and Luke Young then Richardson as another midfielder.

Finally no James even tho he wouldnt have played and im glad Kirklands back in the squad, if he can keep himself he'll be first choice in the next 2-3 years imo.

dunno why he's put andy johnson in, he aint doin that well at the mo, and he's in the champ. looks like he's going on current form with a few players... so why not,,,, and don't laugh.. give geoff horsefield a chance... the boys on fire at the min.


on another note... question: would darren bent have got into the england team if he had been playing in the north east??

Suddendly our squad isnt looking as strong as it used to be....... areas of worry along with LMF are now the strikers and RB.

ps. did anyone note Heskey's man of the match performace at the weekend?

I'd take Heskey to the world cup if Crouch isnt fit.

I wasnt happy when he was playing every game but him or Crouch are usefull for games when everythings not working properly just to give us another option and dimension upfront.

Im not a fan of the long ball but at times its needed and works......look at Rooneys goal yesterday for example.

I think Richardson will be a good addition to the England squad, n I'm glad he's went back to Man Utd as It'll make him into a much better player.

Playing in the reserves?

In the same way that Phil Mulryne and Luke Chadwick cut the mustard after they went out on loan then went back to Utd.....

Chadwicks now sometimes getting games for West Ham and welll wheres Mulryne?
