What two centre halves would you like to see line up against Northern ireland.

I'd personally go for Campbell and Terry. Terry because he's sheer brilliance, and Campbell because I think he's better than Rio.

For once we finally agree my welsh friend . Imo Terry is by far one of the best centre halfs in the world and Campbell is far better than Rio.

Cambpell has been injured for a while tho! Imo Rio is inconsistant and tends to stray out of position. Sol all the way!!

Rio can be lazy in my opinion, and lacks concentration in some games. But in all fairness Campbell being injured is probably going to keep him out of the team I reckon!

Good to have choice though!

Terrys the best English centre half at the moment so he's gotta be in there, But i thin Rio has that little bit more class than Sol.

Terry & Rio should compliment eachother really well aswell.

against NI you could pair any defensive partner ship and we wouldnt concede. for teams like that we need to concentrate on attacking and rio and terry are far better than campbel imo

For me it has to be:

Rio with King as backup
Campbell with Terry as backup.

Rio and King are both excellent ball-playing centre-halves which you need in international football.

Terry is better than Campbell on the ball but nowhere near as technically gifted as the other 2. Campbell has more pace than Terry which is why he edges Terry out when fit
