Emre in toon having medical now Emre Belozoglu is undergoing a medical at St James' Park as he closes in on a move to Newcastle United. So Shepherd is happy to start the new season with a smaller squad than the one you lot had last season, seems very strange considering how much u struggled last season due to your squad size. If you lot get a few injuries in certain departments you could be struggling.
we at one point had 14 people injured or suspended, that is not likley to occur again we now have 3 new players and have released 7 so another 3/4 will bring it back up to last seaosn levels, plus i suspect a few more through the accedmy
