Emre Various Italian newspapers are today carrying the story that Emre has reached agreement with Newcastle United and will join soon. They say Newcastle beat off competition for the player from Everton.
News of the World reckon we have beat everton to Scot Parker to. Everton cant afford his wagers they reckon Emre and Parker would be canny like Not gonna happen tho
Not sure if I want Emre tbh. Haven't seen him play enough to pass judgement properly, but he's a fucking tosser on the pitch, never shut up when England played Turkey, just whinged the whole time, instead of trying to get on with the game. Also how actually bothered is he going to be about playing for us? Leaving Inter Milan and coming to Newcastle to play in the Intertoto! Is he just coming for a big payday like the rest of them? Parker would be a quality signing imo though. Slightly injury prone though, hope he won't be out more than he plays. In the Sunday Mirror today it said in one bit that we were going to steal him form Everton, but another article said his move to Everton is almost complete!:spangled:
