Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP

Just Listened to this for the first time for a few years now, and realised that it's probably the only 'rap' album that i like every track on, fucking superb.

    however he's shite now.

    cheers

thank fuck you put that at the end ! i was beginning to get worried.

nah ive never really liked eminem, his fake aggression and his 'family' backstory got on my tits, i kind of thought of him as the tiesto of rap.

Not really into rap either but I think Necro is a much better artist and producer than Eminem.

'White Slavery' is a certainly interesting tune of his.

eminem is absolutely terrible. surely if you're going to listen to hip hop you can choose something better than this?

not that i'd consider eminem to make anything even closely involving hip hop, mind...

what the fuck is everyone on about - i dont really care what people class it as - i just think its an amazing album, easy to listen too, and holds some funny memories from years ago. :)

its not hiphop tho i'll agree, but i wanted to listen to hip hop i would. he's the same as snoop - he's not really hip-hop either, amongst the many other artists that sold out to sell to a commercial audience. they aint no propa G now init blad.

but i'm not going to listen to a bunch of black americans going on about how much crack they push to keep the ghetto moving etc when i really want to listen to a white guy from detriot take the piss? jeez.

if i want to listen about black opression/crazy lyrics/cool DJ's my Fav Artists would be:

    Immortal Technique
    Jedi Mind Tricks
    Ill Harmonics
Dead Prez (although they only had one good album)
Shurik'n - although french the production on the album was immense

i've also just had a listen of an album by 'cunninglynguists' which was really good.

    + Geet loads more.

so basically - just because i like this album doesent mean i know fuck all about hip-hop, so stop being ignorant pet.

pet? i'm sorry mate, you must have me mistaken, i don't swing that way...

and it worries me greatly that you think hip hop is all about black americans "going on about how much crack they push". the best hip hop is instrumental. you'\d notice that if you'd bothered checking out any of those recommendations i'd given you, which, given the apparent state of your taste in hip hop, you should really do.

    that alright pet? :)

leave it out ffs Allie, you only started liking hip hop about a year ago so dont start giving it the extra salad

Namechecking a list of artists that are on pretty much every single hip hop top 10 list compliled by white middle-class students on Amazon.com doesnt not mean you know what you are on about

"the best hip hop is instrumental"

    fool

You're getting pistol whipped when i see you next
