Kontakt has also took a break just as things started to pick up due to Eivissa being bought out.

the voodoo rooms is a fuckin class venue imo. theres a minimal/electro night there at the mo called by royal appointment and it gets rammed, awesome little dark spot, suits the music down to a T. not sure how well trance would go down there like.

Yeh iv'e been a couple of times, Pure bar is downstairs I think.
Can someone point me in the right direction here (from sunderland or South Shields pref) is there no Trance nights at all over that way? I know they have there 'comercial dance' etc.. at Liquid & The Point but is there anything along the lines of junior:G?

Nope. Adagio for strings gets played the odd time though.

I suppose most of the clubs in Sunderland are quite commercial, seems a shame how theres nothing like Junior:G or Trance line-up's over that way, definately something worth looking into in my eyes, I know Promise tried when the doors closed at Foundation, food for thought anyways.

Theres not really any venues suitable for trance. The Point is the only one with a glimmer of hope, but thats commercial as owt and full of charvs.

Independent might work, but the usuals there are more students into indie stuff.
