Efx500 I'm selling my EFX 500 to fund a new purchase Technical Specifications Delay, echo, pan, flange, trans, jet, zip, wah, ring and fuzz effects plus 3 band isolator Effects assignable to low, mid and high frequencies 18 buttons, 9 knobs, scratch wheel and 3 switches Rca phono and 2 jack input Rca phono and 2 jack output plus headphone jack out Midi in and out 220, 230, 240v non switchable Product Review This is an amazing tool for creative djs with many built-in effects that are controlled via a large jog wheel. Everyone knows that it takes more than two decks and a mixer to get ahead in today's climate, now is the time to take the plunge into cdj technology and the efx500 won't break the bank. £200
i noticed that aswell when i had the djm500 me vesty does it nicely though still looking for a 4 channel mixer like, wish pio would make that djm700 april fools joke, its just what the doctor ordered IMO (which counts for nowt much)
aye, thats handy like, and your right, probably all you would ever need - theres just something about a 4 channel mixer that im drawn to though, might have something to do with having 2 spare decks in a cupboard waiting to be plugged in like
Rite i've tried doing this but have had problems. I've set it up with a Vestax PCV 275 using the send/receive and using mono phono leads. But when i go to assign an effect to one of the channels the sound is of a lesser quality and either too loud or too quiet. Where am i going wrong.....is it the mono leads?
i have that problem, i dont use the efx that much so not really looked in to it - i presume it has something to do with using phono in on the back of the efx, cos i had no probs at all when using the jack input i'll plug it in with the jacks and get back to you about it - you may just have to buy some adapters to go from phono to mono jack is all
yup, dead on Si its the analogue to digital processors, thats why the efx1000 is 24/96 and also the reason it costs so much
