Efx-1000 has anyone used one of these before? alot of dj's are using these in sets and they sound immense, what are they like to use? FX
hours of fun but can ruin a set if you overuse it i had a 500 for years, Spend your money on buying better tunes imo

Its amazing imo I fucking love mine and find DJing in my bedroom really boring withiut it. Like phil said, you can overuse it in a set, but if used sparingly it can be really effective. I addicted to the feedback loops at the minute. You can get some proper aphex twin shit going on. Theres unlimied combinatios and its really good fun trying to find them Buy one, best money ive ever spent on any equipment :chill:
Any one got any advice on whether or not it is worth just paying for a efx 1000... instead of a 500. is there much difference. worth the 300 difference?
Definately worth it imo. The 1000 has a new character dial which means you now have any effect within an effect so to speak. So much more control and diversity compared to the 500. You can also do 16 beat feedback loops on the 1000 which you cant do on the 500. The jog wheel has been improved anf theres a couple of new effects. The pitch echo is the best of the new ones. You can do some proper trippy shit with that
