Expect to hear him showcase new material from his forthcoming album such as the forthcoming single “I’m not alone” as well as all the classics. Also performing live are FRIENDLY FIRES. Undoubtedly one of the hottest new bands out there at the moment they were the first unsigned band to appear on Channel 4's Transmission programme. One of the founding members of the Swedish House Mafia, Steve has toured as one of the biggest house DJ’s on the planet with residencies as Ministry of Sound, London and Pacha Ibiza and smash hit singles. Steve plays at pretty much every high profile electronic music event in the globe and is a true A list DJ in his own right. We are also proud to welcome Birmingham favourite and Radio 1’s lady of rave ANNIE MAC. This date is the Birmingham Annie Mac Presents tour date and we all know how popular the tours have proven to be with sellout shows up and down the country. Annie is one of the most accomplished and recognised DJ’s of recent times. Her Friday night “Mash Up” radio show on BBC Radio 1 has reached cult status and she is one of the few acts that have managed to balance mainstream appeal but still be upfront and forward thinking. She is an immense figure in the music scene and a regular headliner at all the biggest nights around CHASE & STATUS head up the Drum n Bass and Dubstep room…. a drum and bass/electronic/dubstep production duo they have also managed to balance commercial success in the charts whilst maintaining their integrity. They have had three number ones in the UK dance singles chart and their album “More Than A Lot” entered the UK dance album chart at number 2. They are historically a drum n bass outfit but have massive crossover appeal into the dubstep and urban scenes having collaborated with artists such as Kano and Plan B. BOYS NOIZE also make a long awaited appearance in Birmingham. Undoubtedly one of the most respected and revered producers and DJ’s from the electro rave scene. Boys Noize has remixed tracks for Tiga, Para One, and Depeche Mode. Boys Noize's tracks and remixes are favoured by DJs such as Erol Alkan, 2 Many DJ's and Tiga. BEARDYMAN makes his debut for Eclectricity with an exclusive live performance. Beardyman is a world class beatboxer and uses DJ equipment such as the Korg Kaoss Pad 3 in order to loop and sample his vocals. Beardyman has somewhat of a cult following and often uses humour as well as beatboxing in his act. One example of his performance is the legendary "Kitchen Diaries" which features him combining beatboxing with cooking has been viewed more than 3 million times on YouTube. Adding more liquid drum n bass flavors to the table is Radio 1 stalwart FABIO. Undoubtedly an institution and instrumental in the birth and development of the drum n bass scene, Fabio knows how to make the kids move! Radio 1’s first lady of dubstep MARY ANNE HOBBS makes her Eclectricity debut… Her radio show pushes next generation dubstep, drum&bass, hip-hop, techno, dark dancefloor and radical electronic flavours in every form.
