Eclectic is the word of the day as the Custard Factory complex is transformed into a mini festival to make way for an array of music areas and other activities. Expect the full spectrum of contemporary music styles ranging from Hip Hop, Breaks, Drum n Bass, Electro, Tech House, Techno, Indie/Alternative, Soul, Funk and so on….. Headlining the main arena is the critically acclaimed PENDULUM; whose last performance at the Factory saw hundreds of eager clubbers left out in the cold; and that was for just a standard DJ set! This time round, expect an all Pendulum live set on state of the art technology! Comprised of old, new and never heard before material ranging from drum & bass, electronic, rock to breaks! Also on the main stage will be the Birmingham debut of the Cuban Brothers; who’s fresh approach to live entertainment has been whipping up a frenzy at every major event across the globe. Best known for presenting on MTV at key events such as the MTV Music Awards, expect a combination of quality music as well as riotous comedy, both physical and observational. The Factory club space will host the official Soundstation Festival after Party in association with local cult indie and alternative night Resurrection. Expect DJ performances from a range of artists performing at Soundstation including the Chrimea and Boy Kill Boy as well as other very special acts from the festival! In the Kitchen we welcome the Factory debut of probably the hottest property in dance at the moment; SWITCH aka Solid Groove. With remix requests from every major player and producer, Switch’s a ‘bit patchy tune’ is absolutely blowing up! Add to this the totally unique theatre space with random animations and shorts with a UK exclusive screening of Star****er courtesy of Fierce TV and other activities such as a Bareque and you have the makings for a night to remember! __________________ Other approaching dates around and @ Factory Club, The Custard Factory, Birmingham Fri 5th May - ROGER SANCHEZ (3Hr Set in the marquee!)
