    Eastern Promises.

Watched this the other night and really enjoyed it.

It's quite slowly paced though and it's not an out-and-out "gangster film" so some people might be disapointed.

Good performances all round from Mortensen, Watts and Cassel. Mortensen in particular, whilst not having to do much, played it with a quiet intensity.

    Prob give it an 8/10.

I thought this was really good. Like you say it's not as fast paced as most other gangster films but it has some mint scenes in it aswell as a decent story.

    Agreed.

Cronenberg/Mortensen's last film, A History of Violence, was a lot better.
