Think thats what its called......

When I'm using DC++ everytime I log on I'm using a different IP cos of my router.

This causes probs when dloading and searching.

Is there any easy way to get round this so I dont have to keep typing in my new IP everytime?

Sometimes it dont seem to work at all (V annoying)

there should be a setting on you router setup page to change it to static

and will that sort it?

Or will it cause probs with the other comp on the wireless network?

Ive had to edit this a couple of time as I didnt think yer problem through properly.

If you set your connection to passive mode you wont have to input yer ip every time BUT you wont get as many search results because if two people are in passive mode they cannot connect to each other.
