If he's fit, he could be useful.. I don't really rate Dyer but we do lack movement and running is, after all, the only thing he can do.

I'd love to buy Dyer for what he's worth and sell him for what he thinks he's worth. :D

    Who does?

I think he would be very good right wing-back. He is more Ashleycole than Paulscholes

No, I don't to be honest.. He's clearly one of Bobby's favourites though.

    He can't tackle.
His passing is nothing special and his crossing is poor.
He rarely chips in with goals.

Obviously he can run fast but I fail to see what else he can do. And I don't know if it's just me but he seems to have this air about him that implies he thinks he's god's gift. If he was on the market I think he'd be surprised at the teams that were in for him.. Michael Martin of True Faith said the other day that Dyer is "every inch a Spurs player" and I'm tempted to agree..

That said, we've seen poor performances from all our midfielders of late - only Bowyer has impressed - and if Dyer is fit he should be given a chance like everyone else.

He has to be played where he can use his pace. He was class for us a few season ago before he kepted getting injured. I still think he is class tho. He has been shit this season but then again who has for the apart from shearer and woodgate??

I am not sure about him being class.

Given has been great, Olly B could be player of the year & Bellamy has played well when fit a bit like Woodgate.

Like TheSpence said, Given, Bernard and (fit) Bellamy have also been decent.

Comes down to opinions really.. You mentioned about playing him where he can use his pace but personally I don't think he's important enough in the squad for us to be building the team around him, whereas you probably do.

I don't think I explained that bit very well so let's agree to disagree. :D:lol:

We are the most static team in the Premiership with our current line-up.

Bellamy and Dyer would provide the movement, and seem to get others going too. Solano was pretty decent too in this regard, not as quick but v clever.

we have missed solano alot. Ambrose cant even cross a ball how can he be a winger if he cant do that

i dont rate Dyer at all!! None of our midfield cut the mustard realy.

we need to by a hargreeves type player for the middle, a strong dmc (to replace speed) and a right and left winger.

also we need a new striker and right back....

not looking good for next season then!! :(

As usual.. he ran around a lot, quite fast usually.

Bowyer had a far better game and I was dead against us signing him.

dyers a star man in the toons squad, when on form he is one of our best players (IMO!!) his creativity can be one of the best, like i sed when hes on form. it doesnt help really when hes had injurys and inconsistent players playing alongside of him.
