    DVD-R's - Brands/Types

As above - what does everyone recommend? gunna be using them for movies - NOT copying stuff from blockbuster, transfering from my camera - via PC to .AVi then to DVDs.

I know Ritek are ok, but what colours/types should i be using?

about to get a lovely Pioneer DVR-108 DL writer - only £60 brand new from a legit shop... :D

DVDs with ritek G05 Dye are ment to be the best but I know a few people that have had issues using them with a few DVD different players.
The G04 ones have worked perfectly for everyone I know- www.neogames.com have got them for about £7 for a spindle of 25.

ive used alot of bulkpaq oranges, and discrite yellows (about 7 quid for 25) and had no problems at all.

Failing that for about a quid extra for 25, you can go for riteks which everyone raves on about - ive got 2 spindles of em right now and had no problems with em..

I wouldnt recommend you get the "Mirror" brand ones - alot of people have problems with em.

i was going to go for the either the blukpak or the datawrites... it's just the choice between the G04 and G05 dye... i think i'll just see which works best for me... they're cheap as owt.

will be interesting to see how much DL's are...
