dvd regions are most uk dvd players compatable with dvd's from other regions? i have one on me pc that plays most things + paula has one and im looking at buying a region 1 (us, canada) dvd film as it hasnt been released on any other regions... basically... if i buy a region 1 dvd am i gonna be able to watch it quite easily somewhere, or will i have to either move to north america/buy a hefty price player? ta!
Most dvd players, if region locked can be made multi-region fairly easily. Just do a search for your dvd player (manufacturer and model no.) and it'll probably bring up a host of sites, mostly forums whereby the geeks will provide codes etc. that you can bang in via the remote control.
