    Dvd +r/-r

    Im just getting into the DVD thing at the moment, so whats the difference between +R & -R ? is one better the other? whats the deal with it?

    most recorders are dual format anyway now m8 , -r disks are usually cheaper n more compatable tho , think +r were meant for mastering your own dvds or sumit !!

    it's the way it writes the data, structure, something like that...

    DVD-R seems to be the most popular format...

    but now DL is out..... :wink:

    Pioneer DVR108's all the way!

    got writer that does both, just wondered when it came to buying blank DVD's what the difference was

    ritek or datawrite are decent budgets brands, check for the G05 dye....
