    Downloading Old Games

jus tried this on windows NT. The games were Champ Man 97/8 and Sim City

It says these won't run on the newer versions of windows. Any ideas how I could get them running. Ive saved them to a file but they fail to load because of this

    Or use google.

Most games like theme park etc have guides on how to run them on XP/NT etc. Just search for them.

right - still not much further! :dunce:

    wonder if someone can help...

    the site is

    http://personal.primorye.ru/cm2/cm2rus.html

on this screen ive clicked the dowload Champ Man 97/8 FULL

then ive saved it to my desktop.

unfortunately when i right click on the file on my desktop the properties option does not include the compatability option to change to a windows 95 setting rather than NT. The file itself opens and i should be choosing the CM2E16.EXE file but im back to square one as it says its incompatible with my version of windows!

If you're using NT (not 2000 or XP), you won't be able to use the compatibility settings.

The only thing you could prob do is upgrade or make sure you have the most recent NT service pack.
