Done a mix

    Done a mix

    Its just under 80 mins, made a cue file yet nero says its too big to fit on disk, yet ive done this b4 and its worked. Ideas anyone?

    have you removed the silence between tracks the 2 seconds on each track might be pushing it over the 80 mins

    blank cds only fit about 79 mins on in my experience

    Made a cue file the gaps are zero

    they are 80 mins 59 seconds actually

    tehy wont record any more than 79 minutes on my recorder with nero.Maybe its my hardware

    never done it the cue file way before, do they take up space on the cd?

    nope.The cue file is like and image which tells nero where the track markings are the actual cue file doesnt get saved on the disc

    does the bar on the bottom of nero go into the red?

    No its just under , i often have this problem with 699mb xvids etc too

    its maybe just the cd isn't quite 80 mins 59 maybe a bad batch or something can't you remove a little bit from the start and end of the mix, bits of silence? or have you already done that?

    I'll give that a try or might try installing roxio if i can find it kicking about.
    Tried to use stomp but it does not work with cue files

    If you have soundforge you could speed the mix up fraction to shave a few seconds off

    Try enabling overburn just incase.

    gonna record it back into my mp3 player from pc, and shave the end of the last tune off, fingers crossed
