I know it's part of their culture, but I just can't get my head around it. They're too intelligent and loyal to humans. In fairness, so are pigs.

I think my westie is scared for life after watching that!

I wouldn't for religious reasons, but I've never understood why people will eat cute little lambs but then wouldn't eat horse or dog.

its more about companionships than cuteness.

for aslong as i can remember history going back humans have used dogs as companions for hunting, for most people dogs are seen as pets

lambs/pigs/cows (but not as much as the other 2) all show companionship like dogs if they are reared by humans as pets...

whats the difference? just because its seen as acceptable in our society...

If it's reared for food then kill it, if it's reared as a pet then don't.

Doesn't matter whether it's pig, sheep, dog, horse, snake, kangaroo.

I don't care, I'd eat anything. As I said above, if it was reared for food then I'll eat it, if it was raised as a pet I wouldn't.

If dogs are farmed, then I've got no problems eating one

Yes, but that's your pet. I meant more like if I was on holiday in Vietnam or something, and saw dog on a menu I would probably try it.

i dont mind killing animals for food, we gotta do what we gotta do! We're top of the food chain. Look what happens in the future when the apes take over, they treat us like shit.

the sheep looks like an albino version of E.T, when I look at the cow I think of fillet steak and forget its ugly smelly face and the pictures of the pigs from babe are fake, therefore have been made extra cute to what they are in real life :)
