What does my head in is the stupid decisions he makes that he claims "are in the best interests of the club" etc, like sacking Robson at the start of last season. If he wanted shot of Robson he should have said during the summer - that way any new manager could have had time to set up his squad as they liked... Instead he fires him just as we've started, and we were lucky we didn't end up with a total knob for a manager (someone like Howard Wilkinson :laugh: ) As for not winning matches, you can't argue that it's not because of the sheer amount of players we've got injured. If we had our full squad available I'd imagine things would be different. We all saw the difference Owen made when he signed (and until he was injured). It's not the only factor though, when we've got two complete and utter clowns in defence... I can't stand Shepherd because he couldn't give a shit about the club and yet he sounds off at every opportunity he can and makes an utter tit of himself. He's quite happy to cream money off for himself (the last financial estimates have him making well over half a million a year) while leaving the club to run itself into the ground.
